| "I am half sick of shadows," said the Lady of Shalott. Inspired by Tennyson's beautiful poem, our "Shalott" nigthdress is the perfect thing to haunt the night in. A Gloomth take on a classic theme: the Victorian maiden's nightdress. Whether you're a fainting vampire's victim or a ghostly apparition of a cursed maiden, this is sure to be your go to dress! Made of our lush cotton blend, it washes and wears super well and keeps it's shape beautifully. Available in white, pale cream, or black. It features a delicate cotton ruffle framing the neckline and outlining the wide straps. It buttons down the front with demure white flower buttons. The bodice features rows of pleated cotton details and ends just below the bust for a flattering babydoll silhouette. The skirt of this dress is a soft a-line which is gathered below the bust. The hem features two rows of ruffles and ends at about knee length on most heights. La Rose is finished with a clever halter strap which ties behind the neck for an updated style. The strap fastens with tiny concealed buttons, and is easily removed! |
