| For those craving the classic beauty of a statuesque figure comes our Antecedent skirt. The origin of elegance! Ideal for the Victorian lady of the Manor, it's regal style and comfortable fit make it a favorite. Made of lightweight black cotton blend, it is fully lined (to the knee) with black satin lining fabric. The ruffles are not lined and thus swoop and move perfectly as you do! This skirt has an elastic waist that sits comfortably but is not bulky or puffy. It's simple wash and wear. The skirt falls straight from the waist, and does not nip in like a pencil skirt- so there's plenty of space for your stride. Featuring three gathered tiers of black cotton cascading down below the knee to the floor. It's the perfect shape for balancing out a wider midsection (thus making you seem all hourglass and not thick) or a puff sleeved blouse or shrug (so you don't appear top heavy).
