| Truly authentic Victorian bloomers were undergarments, worn under the massive skirts of the time. They were also open at the crotch and had a large droopy posterior... These are our modern take on the traditional bloomers. Customer favorite! Versatile and adorable, wear them alone for a Victorian feel or under your puffy dress for a doll style. Made of soft cotton poplin, they have a touch of stretch for comfort. Our new design for these makes them extra fluffy and fun! Our bloomers have an elastic waist for a comfortable fit, and do not have a big droopy butt like the authentic ones. They gather at the waist band. The legs are straight, with gathered lace hems. The hem of each leg has a cotton tie that can be pulled tight to create the "puffy" shape or left loose to be worn more like casual capris. They stay tied nicely and don't slip! Trimmed with black lace. The bloomers shown are below-the-knee length on most heights. For extra-puffiness grab a size larger than you would normally wear. |
