| Poet, Princess, or Gothic Mystery- this classic top suits a myriad of romantic styles and has a touch of modern edge. At home in the office with a black pencil skirt and pumps as on the dance floor with our matching Buttress skirt. The "Crestfallen" Blouse has a gorgeous shape to it, nipping in at the waist like an hourglass. The slightly open V neckline elongates your neckline and draws the eye upwards. The blouse buttons down the front with plain black buttons. It has large drapy upper sleeves with "puffed" or gathered shoulders and elbows. The sleeves fit closely below the elbow and have exposed steel zippers on the sides that open to create a different shape to the sleeves. The interior of each sleeve is fully lined in the same black crushed velvet, also available with contrasting red crushed velvet if you prefer (contact us for current availability). The sexy sophisticated shape of this blouse is completed with subtle black satin corset lacing at the back, which is decorative and does not really affect the structure of the blouse. This top is made from the identical crushed black velvet as our Buttress skirt so it makes a perfect instant outfit! Pair it with our Antecedent skirt for a more classic or Victorian inspired style. Perfectly matched to our Buttress skirt! |
