The tunnels were lined with bones. Centuries of the dead had been disassembled, their remains constructed into the frames of the space. Rows of skulls filled the walls, empty eye sockets bore silent witness to decades in the darkness.

-The exterior of this dress is raw unbleached cotton gauze with a crinkled, fresh from a grave texture. It looks antique and beautiful!
-Lined in cotton poplin for comfort.
-Back zipper closure.
-Fitted bodice with rounded square neckline to showcase your favorite necklace.
-Ruffles and false button closure on the front.
-Double puffed Renaissance inspired sleeves with shirred (elastic) all the way from the elbow to wrist, finished with a ruffle. You can wear the lower half of the sleeves higher or lower on your arm depending on how gathered and bunched you’d like the shirred portion to be.
-Full skirt with ruffles and pleating! Perfect for a petticoat (not included).
-Features two buttress side panels with a soft triangle shape, these were copied from a Victorian era mourning dress design!
-Not much stretch, the lining has some ease and cotton will loosen when worn over time with your body’s heat but this dress is not stretchy.
-Hand wash cold and hang to dry, but dry cleaning will preserve it best.
